The town of Crowsnest Pass celebrates its history as an epicentre for smuggling alcohol into the United States during the Prohibition with Rum Runners Days in August. A variety of activities are included in the event such as foot races, a midway, a pancake breakfast, a photo contest, a slo-pitch tournament, a community dance and the Thunder in the Valley fireworks display.
