Oldman River Dam Provincial Recreation Area The Oldman River Dam Provincial Recreation Area is located just north of hwy #3, 10 km west of the town of Pincher Creek. The recreation area includes several campgrounds, day use areas, and a group camp. At 1,620 hectares (4,000 acres), it is the largest provincial park in Alberta, and offers canoeing, sailing, fishing and other water sport opportunities, as well as historic sights and interpretive trails. Flummerfelt Park Named after the first president of the International Coal & Coke Company, Flummerfelt Park is the starting point for several historic walks around the Pass. Kids enjoy the water features in the summertime, and the park is the venue for markets and special events throughout the year.
