Lille, Ghost Town of the Pass This trek is approximately 14 km (8.7 mi) long, and takes about three to four hours to complete. Beginning at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre, walkers are taken through the now-deserted townsite of Lille, which was unable to support its citizens after the collapse of the mining industry in the early 20th century. Remains of the mine, homes and the town's hotel are still visible. |
