Hear That Whistle Blow - Hillcrest Mine Tour + My Favorites
Participants meet at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre for this walking and bus tour of the town of Hillcrest, where, in 1914, 189 men were killed when a spontaneous gas explosion occured, triggering several successive blasts that left only 19 survivors above ground.
